Great question, imaginary friend. It means I create art using pre-loved, rescued, and secondhand materials—furniture, frames, prints, objects—basically anything with good bones and bad luck. I rework it with love, creativity, and occasionally a power sander.

Thrift stores, estate sales, online returns warehouses, random roadside miracles, Habitat Restores—you name it. If it’s dusty, weird, and slightly broken, I probably want it.
Anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Some pieces behave. Others fight me like I owe them money.
I do! I try to pack everything carefully and reuse shipping materials whenever I can. (Reduce, reuse, and still make it look cute.)
